About Karl
Karl is from Spokane, Washington, where he cultivated a deep love for the outdoors, aviation, and the art of writing. His 20-year career as a naval officer primarily focused on aviation, training, and operations management, experiences that continue to enrich his storytelling today. Since becoming a freelance writer in 2017 and expanding into editing and content management in 2022, he has developed a versatile portfolio. He has written about travel, outdoor adventures, entertainment, and military and Veterans' issues.

Currently serving as Editor-in-Chief and Vice President of Content at Youtini, his work has also appeared on SnowPak.com, We Are the Mighty, 57Hours, The Alaska Life, and Wealth of Geeks. Karl now calls Whidbey Island, Washington, home, where he lives with his wife, Karissa, continuing to blend his passion for adventure with his love for the written word.
