Karl is a native of Spokane, Washington, where he developed passions for the outdoors, aviation, and writing. He served for 20 years as a naval officer, most of which was spent in aviation, training, and operations management. He has been a writer since 2017. He is currently a Content Manager for Youtini, and his work has appeared at Wealth of Geeks, SnowPak.com, We Are The Mighty, 57Hours, and The Alaska Life. He and his wife, Karissa, live on Whidbey Island, Washington.
